It’s that time of year to watch one of our family’s favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus! To make it extra fun we created a snack board with spooky snacks and a fun “Witches’ Brew” to enjoy in our Hocus Pocus glasses. We served Mummy Hot Dogs for a festive dinner. Afterwards, we enjoyed a treat board as we watched Hocus Pocus 2.

Spooky Snack Board

Here’s what we used to create spooky snacks for the movie:

Guacamole

Halloween tortilla chips

Ghost and bat crispy potato snacks (found at Trader Joe’s)

Ritz cracker “spiders” (made with peanut butter in the middle and pretzel sticks for the legs)

Cut out cheese with crackers

Popcorn

Witch brooms (made with string cheese and pretzel sticks)

Candy Corn

Witches’ Brew

To create a fun and festive drink we used sparkling water (any flavor will work) and added this brew glitter. I chose purple glitter and it turned out so fun! The kids absolutely loved it. We poured it into our Hocus Pocus wine glasses.

Dinner

After watching Hocus Pocus we took a quick break to make dinner. We made mummy hot dogs, mac & cheese and veggies with dip. My daughter decorated clear plastic cups to hold the veggies and dip. Each one had a different Halloween picture. They turned out so cute!

While eating dinner we started Hocus Pocus 2. After we finished dinner it was finally time for our treats!

Treat Board

Everyone’s favorite treat from this board was the monster ice cream sandwiches. To make these I used Sweet Loren’s Pumpkin Spice Cookies with 2 small scoops of Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

We also added:

Decorated wafer cookies

To make the wafer cookies we melted white chocolate chips and drizzled it over to create the mummy look or simply added some melted white chocolate to the tip and then followed with some Halloween sprinkles. The kids love making these and they are so simple to do.

Dark chocolate Halloween bark

To make the Halloween bark I melted dark chocolate chips added sprinkles, m & m’s, candy eyeballs & candy corn. After it’s finished place in the freezer to set.

Caramel apple

Witch broomsticks (made with Reese’s miniature cups & pretzel sticks)

Pumpkin spice marshmallows

Halloween snack mix (honey roasted peanuts, roasted almonds, m & m’s & candy corn)
